Shiplake is well served by public transport.
Buses
Reading Bus operates the Aqua 28 bus service between Reading and Henley running through Shiplake. The Aqua 28A additionally goes through Binfield Heath. The current timetable can be viewed here and downloaded here.
In Henley, the Carousel 850 service runs from Henley to High Wycombe via Marlow.
There is no direct service to Oxford that goes through Shiplake. Either go to Henley and take the Oxford Bus 33 to Watlington and change to the River Rapids X40 to Oxford or go to Reading on the Aqua 28 and take the River Rapids X40 from Reading to Oxford.
Train
Shiplake station lies on the line from Henley to Twyford. Trains run every 30 minutes during the day. Change at Twyford for trains to and from London Paddington and Reading.
